What happens on your first visit
No mystery, no upsell. Here is the whole thing.

Before you arrive
Once you book, our scheduling system emails you intake forms. Filling them out at home means more of your visit goes to treatment instead of paperwork. Eat something in the couple of hours beforehand and wear loose clothing that moves above the elbow and knee.

We talk first
Your practitioner goes through your history, current symptoms, sleep, stress, and what you have already tried. This part matters. The treatment is built from it, which is why first visits run longer than follow-ups.

Treatment
You rest on a warm table while the work happens. Most people find it deeply relaxing and some fall asleep. Nothing happens without your say-so, and you can ask us to adjust anything at any point.

A plan before you leave
We tell you what we found, what to expect, and roughly how many visits it should take. If you are not responding by the point we said you would, we change the approach or refer you out.

Paying for care
We accept FSA and HSA cards directly, and we provide superbills for plans that reimburse out-of-network care. See how it works.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly. We are glad to coordinate with your physician if you would like us to.
Does acupuncture hurt?
The needles are about the width of a hair and insertion is usually not felt. You may notice a brief warmth or dull ache at a point, which fades within a minute.
Can I combine services?
Yes, and many patients do. Tell us at intake and we will build the combination into your plan rather than leaving you to piece it together.
Rescheduling
Plans change. Please give us at least 24 hours notice so we can offer the slot to someone else.
