We accept FSA and HSA cards directly — and for plans that require it, we provide superbills so you can get reimbursed. It's simpler than it sounds.
What's covered?
Not sure if your specific service qualifies? Most FSA/HSA plans cover acupuncture and massage when related to a medical condition. Check with your plan administrator — or request a superbill from us and let your plan decide.
Step 1
Pay with your card at checkout
Just swipe your FSA or HSA debit card like any other card — no forms, no prior authorization needed in most cases. That's it.
If your card is declined (this can happen depending on how your plan is set up), no worries. We'll provide you a superbill and you submit it for reimbursement directly. You'll still get your money back.
We do not bill insurance directly. We are an out-of-network provider. Superbills give you everything you need to self-submit to your FSA, HSA, or insurance plan.
Step 2 (if needed)
Request a superbill
A superbill is an itemized receipt with the medical codes your FSA/HSA administrator needs to process a reimbursement. Just ask for one — at your appointment or afterward — and we'll email it within 1–2 business days.
- Date of service When your appointment took place
- Provider info Credentials and NPI number
- Diagnosis code ICD-10 — what we're treating
- Procedure code CPT — what service was performed
- Amount paid What you paid out of pocket
You submit this to your FSA/HSA administrator and they reimburse you directly. Most reimbursements are straightforward and processed within a few days.
Good to know
A few things to keep in mind
FSA expiration
FSA funds typically expire at year-end, or March 15 of the following year if your plan has a grace period. Don't let them go to waste.
HSA rolls over
HSA funds carry over indefinitely from year to year — no deadline pressure, but there's no reason to delay your care either.
Reimbursement
A superbill is not a guarantee of reimbursement — your plan's coverage determines that. But it gives you everything you need to submit a claim.
