Artist Spotlight: Rudy Galindo Highlighting Fluid Style & Creativity

Rudy Galindo is a prolific Dekalb County artist, both with his creations on canvas as well as in the kitchen. In this artist spotlight, we showcase some of Rudy‘s latest works, now on display (and for sale) at Chrystal Clinic.

Very rarely do you see artists with the creative output that Rudy has. The shear volume of work that Rudy produces is impressive. His art studio is something to behold with seemingly countless works neatly, stacked, categorized, and labeled.

In short, Rudy delivers - whether he is manifesting intimate dining experiences through his gourmet catering service, or in his larger than life paintings which, according to Rudy, have a direct connection with his passion for the culinary arts.

“I’m a creative person.

That’s just the way my brain works.

Art is great therapy!!

I feel that cooking and art so much alike .

My style is colorful and fluid with a lot of emotion.

I’m not afraid to push the boundaries. But I feel that art with me is a on going journey.”

Through these timely and seasonal works, Rudy highlights the duality of the human experience, exposing our often sensitive and unescapably ephemeral nature:
