About our Practice
Chrystal Clinic is an established integrative complementary medicine provider with a mission to empower Northern Illinois to achieve vibrant health. The downtown Sycamore location opened in May of 2020 and has since logged over 3,000 appointments for acupuncture, massage therapy, herbal medicine, yoga therapy, light therapy, reiki and other modalities that empower natural healing.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality massage therapy services to clients, utilizing a variety of techniques to address specific concerns and promote relaxation
Assess clients’ medical history and physical condition to determine appropriate massage techniques and ensure safety during treatments
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations, and provide recommendations for ongoing care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client sessions, including notes on progress and treatment plans
Work collaboratively with other practice practitioners to provide comprehensive care to clients as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained
Stay up-to-date with current massage therapy techniques, industry trends, and best practices
The ideal candidate
Completion of a massage therapy program from an accredited institution (required)
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, and an understanding of how massage therapy can impact overall health and well-being
State licensure and certification as a massage therapist (required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
